Well done to those pupils in key stage 1 who were awarded for their achievements today. 1R had the most improved attendance. The highest attendance award goes to Ms. Carroll's class. Fabulous!
Thank you for the parents who attended. The children always love to see you there.
I hope you all have a wonderful half term holiday. I look forward to seeing you all on Monday 31st October.

Harvest celebration
Thank you to all those families who have given so generously to this year's Harvest Collection. It looks like there will be a dead heat between Nursery and Year 5, for which classes donated the most. The winning classes will have the opportunity to deliver the food to our local charity.
Well done to all those pupils who were presented with certificates in today's achievement assembly. I am really looking forward to handing out more tomorrow.
5P have won the DSs next week for achieving 99.6% attendance last week and 4H have 5 minutes extra playtime for having the most 100% attendees! Keep up the good work.
As a reminder to all families, absence from school will only be granted for exceptional circumstances.

Parents' Evening
Thank you to everyone who attended the parents' evening tonight. It was very successful and we had a good turn out. Remember that if you were not able to attend tonight, you can make an appointment to see your child's teacher. Further parent consultations will take place in December and then each month there after, by invitation.
It will be achievement assembly next week, so I look forward to seeing parents there.
After half term I will be providing parents with a monthly dates for your diary. Please remember that we also have 3 plasma screens in school, that will keep you up to date with Moorside events.
